A green ice cream with the word Pistachio above it in green, on a white background.

Starring, in one of her final roles, three time Oscar nominee, Emmy award winner and Hollywood star Piper Laurie, this intimate audio drama seeks to explore the ties that bind us and the joys of finally getting close to someone who really, if life was right, you would’ve always known anyway.

Pistachio tells the story of the burgeoning relationship between an estranged American grandmother and her Irish grandson. As they bicker across the Atlantic ocean about neighbours, family history, literature and ice-cream, the two wonder at what sort of relationship may be possible for them? In the wake of such insurmountable grief.
