HK was the festival director for Bronntanas 2026 which included 70+ events, spread across the 4 Local Authorities in Dublin.
From the 14th September to the 4th October, Bronntanas celebrates the bilingual and Irish language events for families with primary school children. The festival was nominated for a Chambers Award and HK was featured in the Irish Independent, RTÉ, and FM104 as part of the coverage.
HK’s role included overseeing a steering committee, managing budgets and payments, curating the programme and booking artist/facilitators, contacting venues and community groups, and unifying the different councils under one programme. This was a significant undertaking for a three week festival with 70+ events, all free.
